Self-Improvement Is Difficult, No Matter The Time Or Place
Hello everyone,
Greatness is not easy. By its very nature, pursuing virtue is difficult, time-consuming, and often demoralizing. Why? Because you are fighting against your comforts, demons, and addictions. When you fight against the worst aspects of yourself, you will feel the pain, which is sharp and continuous.
You must remember that self-improvement is never easy. There will never be a moment where becoming your most virtuous self is as easy as enjoying your favorite vice.
Of course, at the end of self-improvement is your best self. At the end of all the pain and suffering is an individual who can accomplish their goals, endure difficulty, and overcome the collectivists that desire nothing more than your destruction.
Thus, walk the path. Acknowledge that what you are seeking to do is not easy or simple. Virtue will always be a challenge. Therefore, take time to reward your efforts. Appreciate what you are doing. Be honest but merciful about your mistakes. Track your progress. Remember that you will succeed as you have before.
Become an individual, and you’ll live a life worth living.
